So you need to fill in your spaced out brows, but you’re not quite sure which hue to use! Here is a guide for all hair colors, as well as some tips and tricks that you can use when primping your eyebrows!
Brunettes
If you have brown hair, opt for dark-brown hues to add warmth, while medium-coloured brunettes should choose lights shades such as hazelnut.
Redheads
Girls with red hair should reach for golden hues to fill in their brows. The fiery locks will pick up the reds in the eyebrows and keep the look very natural looking.
Blondes
Blondies should try to avoid looking washed out. Darken your eyebrows with taupe shades.
Don’t know how to get that sexy arch shape? Here’s a quick how-to!
1. Start off by holding a pencil or chopstick vertically along the side of your nose. Using an eyebrow pencil, mark where it touches your skin to locate your brow’s starting point.
2. To identify your arch, keep the pencil/chopstick against your nose but tilt it to a 45-degree angle- moving through the middle of your iris, then make a mark.
3. Keep moving the chopstick until it hits the outer corner of your eye and mark where your brow should end.
4. Start plucking stray hairs at the bridge of your nose and below your brow. Pluck in the direction of hair growth. You do this because it is much more effective at gripping the hairs and less painful.
Your eyebrows are an extremely important part of your features, because they define your face so much, so you must be careful what you do, how much you pluck, and what colors to use.
Just out of curiosity, how do you groom your brows? Do you pluck/tweeze, wax, thread…or maybe not at all? Let me know!
