First off, I would like to thank Miss Jessie for sending me some of her amazing products. I was very impressed at the quantity of products that I received, which included two 16 oz. tubs of hair cremes and a 2 oz hair creme. So who exactly is Miss Jessie you ask? Miss Jessie was a proud southern matriarch woman who was an expert in two topics: food and grooming. With that, Miss Jessie combined the two to make her own at-home concoctions that she just couldn’t find in stores! Her natural ability to combine food and product inspired a slew of hair products that her granddaughter, Titi Branch, took seriously and started creating a Miss Jessie hair product collection.
Unfortunately for moi, these products are made for curly, wavy, and kinky hair which I don’t have! My hair has always been poker straight, therefore I was a little blue knowing that I couldn’t use these great products. But of course, I had to find out if they worked, so I let some of my friends who had curly hair use them. As I mentioned earlier, I received three different products from Miss Jessie; Curly Pudding for Curls, Kinks & Waves, Curly Merigue for Frizzy Curls, and Curly Buttercreme for Plump Curls & Waves.
Miss Jessie’s Curly Pudding
I can assure you that there is nothing that works better on curls than Miss Jessie’s Curly Pudding! One of my curly haired friends tried it out and she said she never had her curls look like that! I will try to post some before and after pictures as soon as possible! The curly pudding is excellent for curly hair because it transforms your curls into super shiny stretched out tresses.
